Privacy Blog #1
Uhm... hello?
(who is that??)
(I can't... uhh, see you...)
What's wrong?
Why are you in such a mightly strong shell?
(... ..... .. .. .......)
Oh.
(...... ... ....... ... ....)
really?
(........... .. .... ........ ..... ...?)
No.
Okay, can I talk in this blog now?
(..., ....'. .... . .... .... ...)
Oh, right, well, I'll start.
Okay, So if you haven't seen me go a little "coo-coo" on one of the blogs, Then, that's fine, I'm not gonna do that here.
But, the internet is such a dangerous place, Where everyone can share anything they want.
But a main issue is that the worst people in the internet are actually companies, Yes!
If you didn't know... Companies are kinda... uhm... the worst?
Ya' can't trust 'em now a days, Because they've all shown symptoms of toxic relationships, And are also specifically very manipulative, Just because it makes them popular, And gives them the big bucks.
Of course I'm not gonna list all the things, If you want to feel worse about the world, Check out consumerrights.wiki! You might be reading this while already informed about how bad our world is, So if you do feel like fighting against what's happening, Then feel free to inform the wiki inorder to get companies caught before they already have everything.
But, I'm not here to exactly talk about how bad our world is, And we're in an "doominized era!". Instead, I'm here to talk about how bad trying to have a private life is.
There's this youtuber that is maximally into privacy, Called "The hated one", Now, yes, very edgy name.
Everything I watch one of his videos I realize that you just can't be private on the internet anymore.
Companies are so into your data, That even off their sites, they collect your data.
The Hated One has this tone that just feels like he's insulting anyone that doesn't do what he does.
He has this video about how normal VPN's apparently do absolutely nothing, And you should get this alien software, And if you don't then you're a sore loser who shouldn't even try to be private on the internet.
(at least that's how it felt lol)
And after going into the privacy rabbit hole I'm gonna say it: I am uh, not a fan.
The more I go inside the more I feel like I'm in a Ratchet & Clank game, Fighting for my life (spoilers to Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart), just to have decent privacy.
I personally still use a ton of for-privacy applications, But researching for more ways I'm being spied upon is just going to be my limit.
Thanks for reading a tiny bit, And I hope you go into the rabbit hole... or at least find an easy way to learn about being private.
